TRUE BLUE is a new collection by PORTER that bridges the gap between past and present. Each shoulder, drawstring and bucket bag is delicately hand-crafted in indigo, the world's oldest dye, and complemented with vegetable-tanned cowhide accents, as well as hemp threads for excellent breathability and water absorbency.
Released under the its Luggage Label sub-brand, PORTER imbues themes of fertility and beauty across each bag through faux antler detailing. "TRUE BLUE is born from nature and eventually returns to the soil," wrote the brand in a statement. "These bags are filled with the wisdom of craftsmanship which had been coloring the lives of the Japanese people and the sophisticated ideas that enrich our lifestyles."
