Jeremy Clarkson, the star of Clarkson's Farm, made waves last month when he opened his new pub, The Farmer's Dog. Fans flocked from all corners to enjoy a pint at the new establishment, which officially opened its doors on August 23.

The 64-year-old presenter has already tasted success with his Diddly Squat farm shop in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. Therefore, it's no shock that the business-minded host would want to expand his ventures.

This move follows the massive success of his farming show for Amazon Prime, which became an instant hit after its first season aired in 2021, reports Gloucestershire Live.

When not filming his latest road trip escapades with pals James May and Richard Hammond for the recently wrapped up The Grand Tour, the former Top Gear star has been immersing himself in rural life and some genuine, no-nonsense farming work.

Where is Jeremy Clarkson's pub located and what's its name?

Earlier this year, Jeremy Clarkson disclosed that he had shelled out "less than £1m" for a pub named The Windmill, which he subsequently renamed The Farmer's Dog.

The pub is situated in Asthall, near Burford in Oxfordshire, with the address being Asthall Barrow Roundabout, Burford, OX18 4HJ.

A large marquee has been set up on the grounds of the five-acre site, leading some locals to voice concerns about potential traffic issues due to the pub's location next to the bustling A40 road.

The pub offers traditional pub grub but with a unique twist - all dishes are packed with locally sourced ingredients from British farms. The menu changes with the seasons and avoids ingredients that cannot be found in the UK, although Clarkson has confessed his G&T is an exception.

Naturally, Clarkson's own drinks brand, Hawkstone, features prominently on the menu with its range of lagers, IPAs, and ciders.

The food menu includes hearty dishes such as sausage and mash, gammon with bubble and squeak, Lancashire hotpot, steak pie and a vegetable and cheddar crumble.

The Tent, which provides an al fresco dining option for pub-goers, houses The Farmer's Puppy, a smaller version of the pub's bar and kitchen for those dining outdoors. It also accommodates Hopes and Chops, where patrons can purchase British-farmed meat and Hawkstone beer to take home.

Lastly, those wishing to purchase mementoes from the Diddly Squat Farm Shop can find a version of it in the tent, with the website touting it as "the best of the farm for you to take home".

The first three seasons of Clarkson’s Farm are now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Fans of Clarkson can also watch his final episode of The Grand Tour, entitled One for the Road, via the streaming platform.
