22 Kids and Counting: Tillie faces surgery in teaser

Sue and Noel Radford are on tenterhooks as they ready themselves for one of their children to undergo surgery after a consultation at a leading hospital.

In an upcoming teaser for 22 Kids and Counting, viewers see the parents accompany their daughter Tillie to Liverpool's renowned Alder Hey Children's Hospital, where she undergoes a foot examination by a specialist.

The show's voiceover, Sally Lindsay, informs the audience: "Next time, Tillie faces major surgery and cruel bullying to realise her dream."

During the check-up, the consultant notes a size discrepancy in Tillie's feet, though further details of her impending treatment remain undisclosed. Later, Tillie is seen enjoying time at an ice rink, being spun around by her parents, with father Noel filming the joyful moment.

The 14-year-old's medical appointment follows news that the Radfords are confronting their anxieties, with son Daniel announcing his intention to relocate to Australia for work. Sue confesses: "I do fear the kids leaving home. I'm going to miss him.", reports the Mirror.

Looking forward to the episode airing Sunday, August 18, the preview also highlights the pandemonium that ensued when the Radfords released their book, "The Radfords: Making Life Count."

However, it appears the publication wasn't part of their original plan.

Narrator Sally Lindsay remarks: "And in typical Radford style, a school project to write a family history becomes a publishing sensation."

Upon seeing the lengthy queues for their book signing, Sue and Noel are visibly flabbergasted outside a bookshop. Noel is heard expressing his astonishment: "That's not the queue, that's massive. Oh my god!"
