Emmerdale fans have been left concerned for Moira Dingle (played by Natalie J. Robb) due to her forgetful nature in the latest episodes of the ITV soap. The farmer's life on screen has been awash with turmoil, especially following her son Matty Barton's (Ash Palmisciano) unjust imprisonment after Samson Dingle's (Sam Hall) false claims of being stabbed.
The past week in the Dales saw justice prevail with Samson heading to jail for his lies, and an overjoyed Moira barely able to contain her excitement - a reaction that made her husband Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) noticeably uncomfortable.
Cain's been bearing the brunt of Moira's wrath recently; one explosive altercation even had her hurling a glass at his head.
Moira's biting remarks escalated when she coldly told her embattled son to "man up" despite his harrowing time behind bars, leading to a stark accusation from Matty about her apparent lack of empathy.

Confusion reigned as a sleepy Moira found herself perplexed at her unexpected midday slumber, citing her scant eating habits and the demands of maintaining both her extensive working hours and a spotless household.
She implored Matty to keep this worrying incident a secret, particularly from Cain, a request that Matty acquiesced to tentatively.
However, undercurrents of worry persisted, and when a concerned Matty later made a call to check in on her, what Moira wished to remain hidden was inadvertently revealed.

"Yes, I have eaten some food and I'm all rested and I feel like a new woman," she told Matty while secretly pouring a glass of whisky. When she hung up the phone, she took a big gulp and exclaimed: "That's nice."
The next day, she appeared frustrated when she couldn't find some documents. But later on, she couldn't remember her attitude towards Cain who appeared taken aback by her behaviour.
However, despite Emmerdale hinting at Moira's growing dependence on alcohol, some fans are speculating that she may be showing signs of dementia.
