Corrie: Nick finds out bad news about Toyah's operation

Coronation Street fans have been left fearing Toyah Habeeb is going to die this week as she remains unconcious in hospital. Nick Tilsley was by Toyah's side during Monday's episode (August 12) as she underwent an operation as part of her battle with ovarian cancer.

Nick had been at the hospital the entire morning to support Toyah as well as wait for her operation to finish. But things took a turn for the worse when the consultant told him that Toyah has suffered complications during three hours of surgery.

While Toyah's life hung in the balance, Nick immediately called her sister Leanne with the bad news and demanded she rushed to the hospital as soon as possible.

Later in the episode, Nick was informed that doctors had managed to stabilise Toyah, but she remained unconscious and on a ventilator.

Nick and Leanne sat at Toyah's bedside and had a heart-to-heart about their love for one-another following their recent spats.

As fans will know, Nick recently confessed his true romantic feelings for Toyah following their fling, but is now ready to chose which sister, Leanne or Toyah, he wants to spend his life with.

However, Corrie fans are convinced Toyah will not pull through her ordeal and the character will be killed off 27 years after her first appearance.
