Strictly Come Dancing has finally unveiled its full list of celebrities for the 2024 series with the last three members of the line-up now confirmed.

From Olympians and an EastEnders legend, to a comedian and a Love Island star, fans of the BBC competition have loved the drip feed of this year’s Strictly line-up who are set to take to the dancefloor later this year.

Now, the remaining three stars to finish off the cast have been revealed on The One Show by presenters Alex Jones and Lauren Laverne.

Nick Knowles was the first of the three to be unveiled on The One Show sofa on Monday. He's best known as the face of DIY SOS as well as hosting other shows such as Break The Safe, 5-Star Family Reunion and Who Dares Wins.

When his name was announced he said that his sisters are professional dancers who think it's "hilarious" that he's now taking part in Strictly.

The second name to be revealed on The One Show was footballing legend Paul Merson who found success as an attacking midfielder.

He now works as a commentator and sports television pundit for Sky Sports but when it comes to strutting his stuff on the dancefloor, Paul isn't quite as experienced, admitting to Alex and Lauren that he's "danced three times in my life and they were all at my wedding!"

The third and final name announced and completing the Strictly 2024 line-up is Olympic hockey champion Sam Quek.

She won gold as part of the British team at the 2016 Summer Olympics and has gone on to work as a television presenter on various shows like Field Hockey on BT Sport, The NFL Show on Channel 5, as well as football on Channel 4.

She said on The One Show that she couldn't "not be competitive" and will be "100 per cent committed" when it comes to training.

Strictly unfortunately has been in the limelight for the wrong reasons over the past few months after drama with some of their professional dancers.

Former contestant Amanda Abbington accused Giovanni Pernice of making sexual comments in the rehearsal room and he will not be taking part this year while an investigation is being carried out.

Meanwhile, Graziano Di Prima was fired from Strictly after claims that he assaulted his former dance partner presenter Zara McDermott while practicing last series.

Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One.
