The character, who first appeared in the Dales in 2008, has been involved in numerous major storylines. His relationship with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) captivated viewers, making them one of the soap's most cherished couples.
Robert and Aaron grew emotionally and physically close, leading to an unofficial marriage in 2017. However, their relationship ended due to Robert's infidelity while Aaron was in prison.
They briefly reconciled in 2018 and officially tied the knot, but their marital happiness was short-lived when Robert was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2019 for murdering his sister's rapist.
In recent episodes, Aaron had a fling with a mysterious newcomer, who was later revealed to be John Sugden, Robert's half-brother. Despite their brief affair, tensions have risen between them, particularly after John abandoned Aaron following their roadside tryst, stealing his van, reports the Manchester Evening News.
