A new series of Antiques Road Trip is just around the corner. The beloved BBC daytime TV show, which has been absent from our screens since December 2023 following the conclusion of its regular and celebrity series, is set to make a triumphant return.

The regular series aired from November to December 2023, with a star-studded celebrity version featuring Colson Smith, Christine McGuinness, Gemma Collins, Laila Morse, Melvin Odoom, Rita Simons and many more, ran from October to January 2024. Viewers will have only a few days to wait as the launch date for the popular show's return to BBC One.

Antiques Road Trip will return at 3.45pm on Monday, August 19. Featuring experts Margie Cooper and Mark Hill, the duo will explore Yorkshire behind the wheel of an MGB Roadster and splash their cash on hidden gems to take to auction.

A 13th series of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip has also been commissioned and will air in primetime on BBC Two, although the BBC has yet to announce its launch date and line-up.

The celebrity version of Antiques Road Trip has been on air since 2011, a year after the regular series debuted. The format sees two experts are assigned to two competing celebrities, each pair is given a £200 budget to buy antiques and collectibles to sell at auction, with the greatest profit maker declared the winner and all proceeds going to charity.

The BBC previously announced they had given the green light for a fresh season of Antiques Road Trip, along with its celebrity edition and another run of The Travelling Auctioneers.

BBC Daytime and Early Peak Commissioning Editor, Muslim Alim, said: "Get ready for a treasure trove of entertainment! With their long track record, we're thrilled to be working with STV Studios on these returning hit series. All three of them promise to deliver more riveting journeys from across the UK as experts hunt for, restore, and auction off unique finds."

STV Studios' Creative Director of Factual, Craig Hunter, added: "I'm delighted with the ongoing success of these returning STV Studios formats. This order is a testament to the BBC's commitment to the Nations and I couldn't be prouder of the hard-working teams that continue to deliver a fresh twist on these much-loved brands."
