Daredevil: Born Again gets exciting season 2 update as teaser trailer leaks online
Daredevil: Born Again’s first teaser trailer has leaked online after being shown to fans at this year’s Disney Expo, D23.
Footage filmed at the event can still be found online at the time of writing, showcasing Charlie Cox’s long-awaited return to Hell’s Kitchen as blind crime fighter Matt Murdock/Daredevil.
It features plenty of classic superhero action as well as the return of some familiar faces, including vigilante the Punisher (played by Jon Bernthal) and Daredevil’s ruthless adversary the Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio).
Plus, his trusted friends Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) are also making their long-awaited return from the original hit series on Netflix.
The trailer hasn’t been officially released just yet, but fans have also been given a huge update on the Disney+ drama’s second season to tide them over.

Details about the series remained shrouded in mystery up until now, such as the return of Bernthal’s Punisher as well as appearances from villains Bullseye (Wilson Bethel), White Tiger and Muse.
As the series is hopping over to Disney+, the stars have also addressed if the events of Born Again are in the same continuity as Marvel’s Netflix universe.
“Not exactly the same, but much closer,” Charlie said. “And potentially much improved.”

And Vincent added: “It’s hard to comment because I want to say so much about both the [Netflix] show and this show, and the change that happened.
“But in the end, the last few months of work we did was… written beautifully and directed beautifully…. Personally, I think it’s as intense as we’ve ever been.”
Born Again was originally announced to air in spring 2024 until production was put on pause last year for a creative overhaul, including adding returning characters and replacing the showrunners with The Punisher’s head Dario Scardapane.

Charlie’s Daredevil last appeared opposite Tatiana Maslany in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and he also made a cameo appearance in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Daredevil: Born Again will be released in 2025 on Disney+.
