GMB viewers demand 'get rid' as Kate Garraway's Southport riot report sparks fury

Good Morning Britain was slapped with complaints as fans slammed Ed Balls and Kate Garraway. The duo returned to the ITV programme on Wednesday, once again discussing the riots across the country.

In the latest update, the far-right groups are set on causing more chaos across the UK today as they are planning to stage 39 protests outside immigration lawyers offices.

The riots have been the top headline on Good Morning Britain since they began over the weekend, with Ed and Kate interviewing a number of guests about the incidents.

Today, the presenters have questioned whether social media should be banned in areas where the riots are happening, with many declaring how online platforms have created a "perfect storm" for the attacks.

Ed and Kate sparked fury online as fans shared the same complaints about their "biased" reporting on the issue.

One wrote: "Yet again, @edballs twisting facts to fit his narrative. Completely biased reporting. He even smirks as he's talking, knowing full well that he's only reporting half of the facts. Two tier police and two tier GMB."

Someone else added: "Kate & Ed are so awful! Can’t watch them anymore so goodbye." A third added: "The bias from #GMB just makes things worse. Violence is not the answer from ALL communities! The guests they have on are inciting more violence imo."

Another penned: "What an absolute howler by Kate this morning. All over the place. Desperate to call anyone racist over the demonstrations. She was rude and out of touch."

Daily Mail consultant Andrew Pierce has been a regular face on the ITV programme over the past few days, leading viewers to also slam the show's "lack of impartiality" when it comes to reporting.

One wrote: "Really believe that @GMB need get new presenters who are going to report the News unbiasly. Kate Garraway Andrew Pierce Ed Balls unprofessional and Andrew Pierce thinks he's on."

"@GMB needs to get rid of Ed Balls, Kate Garraway and Andrew Pierce and get people who can do the job and look at both sides remain impartial on reporting the riots in England," echoed a second.

Another angry viewer posted: "Just watching Kate Garraway and Ed Balls. Especially Andrew Pierce on @GMB it is scary how they twist the narrative and again promote Nigel Farage who's inciting hate against Muslims. @GMB is turning into @GBNews."
