This Morning viewers were left with a mix of chuckles and cringes this week as Craig Doyle made a hasty and dramatic exit from the set, leaving co-host Josie Gibson to man the ship solo.

The on-screen duo was involved in a light-hearted segment with none other than the 'Coupon King' 27 year old Jordan Cox, who boasts the knack for nabbing bargains which could see the public dining out this summer without burning a hole in their wallets. As the conversation took a playful turn, suggesting Josie should consider a date with the budget-savvy Jordon, Craig played up being the odd one out.

In a comedic bid to play matchmaker, the witty Craig shuffled Jordon's chair closer to Josie's, complete with wine glasses, as he quipped about the two enjoying some alone time and then, in a sudden twist, beat a retreat from the studio entirely.

As the moment to handover to Loose Women arrived, with the ladies ribbing Josie over her unexpected 'date', Craig blithely chimed in: "Just gonna pop next door for a minute! Be back in a minute, you guys enjoy yourselves!"

He playfully tossed some plates at an amused Jordon, humorously instructing, "Try the veal. Enjoy! Bye babe!" before making his getaway. The pair, left in the lurch, good-naturedly toasted with their glasses, with Josie joshing, "Cheers to you! Thought you'd have given me more than a glass of water though."

Earlier mishaps had set the tone for the day when Josie almost tripped on set due to Craig's impromptu moonwalking. Their infectious energy had kicked off This Morning alongside Gyles Brandreth and Tom Swarbrick, grooving to the hit track Just Can't Get Enough even if some fans felt it tipped into "cringe" territory, the hosts did not let that dampen their step, reports the Mirror.

Josie had to steady herself as Craig's impromptu dance nearly toppled her over. Craig explained to the audience: "There is a reason for all this, because we are paying homage to all things eighties today. We just can't get enough, as the song said!"

However, it was their style transformation that really caught viewers' attention, with one fan exclaiming: "Love Josie's blouse. Can you find out where it is from please? Do any viewers know? " Another chimed in: "Josie is f***ing fit!"

"Nice moves Josie and Craig lol!" another viewer commented, while someone else added: "Craig and Josie are the dream team."

A fifth person wrote: "Love Josie and Craig keep them on more!" Meanwhile, another viewer couldn't resist advising: "Pull the shoulder of your top up!"
