Suits cast reunite in Super Bowl advert

Suits favourite Patrick J. Adams has landed a role in the modern Yellowstone spin-off, with filming scheduled to commence this month across Montana and Texas.

Best known for his portrayal of Mike Ross in the hit legal drama, Adams' casting was revealed by Deadline. The actor could find himself sharing the screen with Hollywood icons Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell.

Titled The Madison, TVLine reports that Taylor Sheridan's latest foray into the western genre will revolve around affluent matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family, who swap the bustling metropolis of New York City for the serene landscapes of Montana after the tragic deaths of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash.

Chris McCarthy, CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, previously shared his enthusiasm for the project, stating: "Within five years, we grew Yellowstone from a hit US cable show with five million viewers into a global hit franchise with over 100 million fans around the world and multiple extensions - and, we're just getting started."

He added: "On the heels of 1883 and 1923's success, our new planned spin-offs, 1944 and 2024 [The Madison], will take audiences on a thrilling, new and unexpected journey with the complex and compelling storytelling that has become a hallmark of the franchise and has helped turn it into a worldwide cultural phenomenon thanks to the creative mastermind of Taylor Sheridan."

Actor Adams has hinted at the potential expansion of the Suits universe to the big screen, despite the development of its TV spin-off Suits: LA, reports the Mirror.

Speaking at this year's Golden Globe Awards, he enthusiastically said: "Yes, yes let's go, I'll do it. Yeah I'm ready, Mike and Rachel in Seattle. I think Meghan's a fantastic actor, so we'd be lucky to have her back in the industry."
