Vikings: Valhalla fans think Harald Harefoot is spitting image of late Hollywood star
The third and final season of Vikings: Valhalla dropped on Netflix two weeks ago, leaving fans both excited and devastated as the popular series came to an end. One character to make an impression was Harald Harefoot (Ruben Lawless), who is the second son of King Canute (Bradley Freegard) and Queen Aelfgifu of Denmark (Pollyanna McIntosh).
The character makes his debut in Vikings: Valhalla season 1 as a child, when he arrives in Kattegat with his brother Svein and their grandfather, King Sweyn Forkbeard (Søren Pilmark). In season 3, which is set seven years later, he is interested in becoming King of England.
Many viewers were caught up in the drama unfolding in the final season, but some were unexpectedly distracted by the character’s appearance.
Taking to Reddit, one fan pointed out that Harald actor Ruben looks strikingly similar to one of Hollywood’s most famous actors. @Skulltress67 wrote: “Does anyone else think Harald Harefoot looks like Heath Ledger, or am I delusional?”
Heath Ledger, famed for hugely popular films like The Dark Knight, Brokeback Mountain and 10 Things I Hate About You, was one of the biggest movie stars of his day. However, the Australian actor tragically died in 2008 at the age of 28 following an accidental overdose.

On Reddit, fans shared their thoughts on Ruben’s uncanny resemblance to Heath, as they compared pictures of them side-by-side.
“Nah you’re on to something,” one person agreed, as another chimed in: “No I thought the same thing.” (sic)
“Honestly thought you put two pictures of Ledger up,” another person exclaimed, while the original poster replied: “Thank you for the validation!!!! Some see it, some don’t.” (sic)

But another fan argued: “You are a bit delusional. One of the actors from the series have a friend who looks like Heath, but he isn't on the show at all. This dude doesn't look like him one bit.” (sic)
“Hahaha ok thanks for the reality check. Wishful thinking I guess,” the original poster politely responded. (sic)
While one more person suggested: “Was thinking he looked similar to Brendan Fraser in George of the Jungle!”
