BBC The One Show's Alex Jones 'in tears' as she bids final farewell
Earlier this month, Alex Jones announced to her social media followers that she was moving house after 11 years.
The One Show star, her husband Charlie Thomson, and their three children, Teddy, seven, Kit, four, and Annie, two, are set to move imminently.
Taking to Instagram to share the latest "tearful" updates on the big move, Alex uploaded a series of snaps and videos to her story of herself, her family and the rather empty family abode.
She captioned one image of herself taking a moment to sit down amongst the stress of packing her belongings up: "It's just been one of the busiest days ever, and yes, that is more cardboard behind me...
"But just sitting now and remembering all that's happened within these four walls for the big move tomorrow."

Alex took a break from all of the packing yesterday (Image: ALEX JONES INSTAGRAM )In another story, the 47-year-old shared a sweet moment of her husband taking their children to school on their bikes for the last time which she captioned with an upset-looking emoji.
The heartfelt Ariana Grande ballad One Last Time was playing in the background of the video.
While the children were being taken to school, Alex shared a short timelapse of herself hoovering her empty house ahead of bidding farewell to it forever.

In the final story of the day, the presenter took a picture of an empty upstairs room with a huge bay window and shutters.
"Goodbye lovely house," she captioned the post with a crying emoji at the end of the sentence as she and her family prepare to unpack and settle into their new home.
When Alex initially told her followers she was moving to a new home, she shared a video on social media of herself walking down the stairs.
She says in the clip: "So here is a bit of news. We are actually moving house. In three weeks' time. I am finding it a little bit emotional."

Alex recently shared a video of herself clearing out her children's toys from one of the upstairs bedrooms.
Their house is a Victorian property in London, but it is not known where the presenter and her loved ones are moving to, or the style of the home.
She renovated their family home ahead of moving in and occasionally showed fans glimpses of her Scandi-inspired interiors.
