The Jetty star Jenna Coleman has piqued fans' interest in her life off-screen since appearing on the BBC drama. The show is set to return for its third episode this Sunday, July 21, on BBC One, featuring Detective Ember Manning, portrayed by Jenna Coleman, as she delves into a perplexing case.

With roles in Emmerdale, Doctor Who, Victoria and more, the Blackpool-born actress has certainly become a familiar face in British households.

Inside the life of The Jetty's Jenna Coleman

The 38-year-old actress is currently dating 35-year-old director Jamie Childs, whom she met while working on the Netflix series The Sandman. Their relationship was confirmed in February 2022 when they were spotted hand-in-hand in Islington.

Reports suggest that Coleman and Childs now share a £2.2 million townhouse in London.

The couple collaborated again when Coleman starred in Childs' debut feature film, Jackdraw, in January 2023.

Last month, the pair announced they were expecting their first child together.

Coleman proudly displayed her baby bump on the red carpet for Imaginary Conversations, alongside Childs.

In a conversation with Harper's Bazaar about starting a family, Jenna Coleman asserted that she's not in a hurry.

"Half of my friends have babies, and half don't, so it doesn't feel like a pressure," she shared.

Asserting her desire to experience more before settling down, she said: "I want to take my time. There's a whole lot more of the world for me to see first."

Coleman's prior relationships include her Victoria co-star Tom Hughes, Bodyguard actor Richard Madden, and ex-Emmerdale castmate Karl Davies.

The Jetty continues on Sunday, July 21, at 9pm on BBC One.
