AEW has been holding Collision tapings on Thursdays more frequently and the roster is said on board for the change. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the AEW roster enjoys the Thursday tapings. If they are already on the road for Wednesday, it’s easier to stay for another taping instead of go on the road for two days and then return on Friday or Saturday.
The ratings difference between a live and taped show is reportedly not enough to go live every week and sacrifice the goodwill of the talent.
