WWE signed Austrian judo athlete Aaron Fara to a developmental deal, according to a new report. The WON reports that Fara, who represented his country in the 220 judo weight class at the 2024 Olympics signed a deal with the company. Fara was part of a WWE tryout involving 17 Olympic athletes recently.
The signing of Fara, 27, got coverage in Austrian mainstream outlets this week according to the report. WWE has also offered deals to Olympic judo athlete Shady Einahes from Canada and discus thrower Francois Prinaloo from South Africa, though no word on whether those deals were signed.
