– During a recent interview with the CHGO Blackhawks Podcast, AEW wrestler Kyle Fletcher discussed the new ring gear that he debuted over the weekend on AEW Collision. Kyle Fletcher now wears ring trunks. Below are some highlights (via Fightful):
Kyle Fletcher on his new ring gear: “I was pretty happy. I think everyone was pretty shocked by the thighs. I get very nervous and anxious…if you think about, the whole idea and changing appearance and new gear all stemmed from my brain. I didn’t get a lot of input from a lot of people. It’s my brain child, really. I’m debuting this new thing that I created in my brain. Only a few people, up until the day of, had seen it.”
On the reaction to his new trunks: “The people who designed and made the gear, Skye Blue, a couple of friends. For the mass population, it was their first time seeing it. It was very nerve-racking, but the reaction was polarizing, which I think is probably the best thing you can ask for. A lot of people hated it and made noise about it, that makes me happy.”
Kyle Fletcher picked up a win over Komander on Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision.
