In an interview with the Battleground Podcast (via Fightful), Gail Kim gave her thoughts on the partnership between WWE and TNA, which she says is beneficial to the entire wrestling business.
She said: “I honestly feel like it’s great for wrestling in general, not just WWE and TNA. I just think because it’s such a polarizing time right now, social media, a lot of people have their opinions and wrestling is a little bit exposed more so people feel like they know it or they know how wrestling works so they’re trying to predict it. I love how you never know what’s gonna happen, you never know who we’re gonna work with, never know what kind of dream matches you’re going to get out of it. Ever since the collaboration, all I see from fans is, ‘I wanna see this person wrestle this person.’ They’re just excited for wrestling in general, it’s not this tribalism, it’s, ‘I’m a wrestling fan’, and I love to see that.“
