In an interview with The Chase and Big Joe Show (via Fightful), Swerve Strickland spoke about The Acclaimed taking part in Blood & Guts and believes they will “step up” tonight. The three will team with Mark Briscoe and Darby Allin against The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, Jack Perry and Hangman Page.
Swerve said: “[Fans] can expect a lot of crazy maneuvers. They can expect something wild from Darby Allin. Always. I feel like the underdogs right now are The Acclaimed. I feel they’re looking to step up and prove once again why they are one of the biggest names in All Elite Wrestling and the wrestling industry, period. Expect something big from The Acclaimed.“
