Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is out for Monday's game against the Cavaliers in Cleveland due to a right adductor strain, the team announced.
It's unclear when Antetokounmpo suffered the injury. This will be his first absence of the season.
The Bucks have struggled mightily out of the gates, entering Monday's game with the worst record in the Eastern Conference at 1-5. They are fresh off a 114-113 loss at home to the Cavaliers, who are undefeated this season.
Despite his team's poor start, Antetokounmpo has been brilliant through six games, averaging 31 points, 12.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists.
