Well Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, and Byson Dechambeau have all fallen by the wayside, but we are set for a thrilling weekend in The Open Championship. 2019 champion Shane Lowry is the leader going into the third round, two shots clear of Dan Brown and Justin Rose.
Scottie Scheffler isn't out of it yet though, the US Masters champion sitting at one under par, six off Lowry. Jon Rahm meanwhile, is two further back on one over.
It's going to be another fascinating day in difficult conditions at Royal Troon. Can Lowry hold off the chasing pack?

Hatton screams expletive
Tyrrell Hatton’s feelings about The Open Championship this week were summed up on the 16th hole he screamed an expletive that left one TV commentator apologising.
After his 282 yard approach into the par-five 16th was blown off course and took a kick into the rough, Hatton shouted "f**k you," with the comment heard in the grandstands and on live coverage.

Lowry explains x-rated outburst
Shane Lowry overcame a heated moment on the 11th to finish seven under par yesterday, and has now explained his actions.
He launched a foul-mouthed tirade at a cameraman after a mishit shot found the bushes. He's now explained: “Just there was a cameraman there, and he was walking up, and I asked him to stop or move back, and he just kind of stayed there.
“As it was over, he put his camera up. I kind of saw it out of the corner of my eye, and I should stood off it, my own fault.”
McIlroy left red-faced
Two days to forget for Rory McIlroy.
And it was summed up at the 17th yesterday. The Northern Irishman missed his approach and reacted by trying to balance his club in his hand, preparing to swing it over his head.
Instead, he managed to strike himself in the face with the handle. It doesn't rain....
