Manchester United’s weekend draw with Premier League leaders Liverpool might’ve just sparked the Ruben Amorim era into life.

A late Amad Diallo equaliser capped off a stellar performance from the Red Devils, who defied the odds and escaped Merseyside with their dignity intact.

Arsenal are up next for Amorim and co. in the FA Cup on Sunday, but away from the pitch, United’s January transfer window is also starting to pick up pace.

In the meantime, Express Sport have detailed all the latest Manchester United transfer news.

Marcus Rashford offered an Italian getaway

Marcus Rashford is being touted with a move away from the club, as his decade-long career with the Red Devils edges closer to its end.

Having broken through as a teenager, Rashford is an esteemed graduate of the United academy, meaning any money made from his sale will go down as pure profit on the books.

Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have been linked with Rashford’s signature, alongside fellow Serie A outfit Como, who have emerged as a surprise suitor for the Englishman.

If it’s a deal that materialises, Rashford would be offered a reunion with former international team-mate Dele Alli, who is currently on trial with Cesc Fabregas' side.

Joshua Zirkzee terms ‘agreed’ with Serie A giant

Joshua Zirkzee’s Manchester United career could be over before it’s even properly begun.

The Dutch attacker penned a £36.5million deal with the Red Devils in the summer but hasn’t impressed, firstly for Erik ten Hag and now Amorim.

It’s being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport that Zirkzee could be heading for an immediate return to Serie A, with Juventus having supposedly agreed terms.

Perhaps surprisingly though, even though Zirkzee joined in the summer, United are reportedly favouring either a permanent sale, or a short-term loan with an obligation to buy.

United eye PSG double swoop

Amorim has been open and honest about United’s limitations in the January market, hinting supporters might have to wait until the summer for them to welcome new names.

But he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of making new additions, with a double swoop for Paris Saint-Germain pair Randal Kolo Muani and Nuno Mendes being mooted.

The Athletic recently reported United, along with Tottenham, are among the frontrunners for Kolo Muani, while Sky Sports claim United have eyes on Mendes, should a deal present itself in January.
