Dutch starlet Laura Celia Valk has dismissed speculation of a romance with Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham. Amidst ongoing whispers of a love affair, the model clarified her relationship status during an Instagram Q&A session with her massive following of 567,000 fans.
Her straightforward reply to the romantic inquiry?
"No, I don't."
The confirmation comes in the wake of reports from the Daily Mail claiming that rumours of their liaison were merely a publicity ploy by Pretty Little Thing—Valk's fashion label. An inside source reportedly told the newspaper: "It was one of those rumours that grew legs and there doesn't seem to be an awful lot to it.
"But what was evident from the leak is that it got Pretty Little Thing a lot of publicity. The story that Laura and Jude were dating went everywhere, and each time the story was repeated, PLT got a mention.
"It's quite clever, really. The world has been waiting for a glimpse of Laura [at Euro 2024] but it doesn't look like that is going to happen, she seems to be doing her own thing in Paris and having a jolly old time, too."
Meanwhile, Bellingham is staying laser-focused on his football career as he vies for success with Real Madrid, who are currently trailing behind local rivals Atletico Madrid in La Liga.
Despite previously sizzling on the field with 23 goals in his debut season, Bellingham's contribution has evolved after the high-profile arrival of Kylian Mbappe.
Bellingham has been showcasing his versatility this season, taking on a deeper role but remaining open to any position Carlo Ancelotti sees fit. Reflecting on Real Madrid's UEFA Super Cup triumph, he told TNT Sports: "We have a new-look team.
"It seemed to click tonight. The first half we were still adjusting and the second half we were brilliant. We have to enjoy nights like tonight. The coach trusts me to get the feel for positions. I can go higher and into midfield. Whatever the coach wants for me I do."
Bellingham also praised team-mate Mbappe: "I don't know if I'll always score goals but hopefully I can be involved in the team winning. Kylian Mbappe is brilliant. So sharp. So much technical quality. A great team-mate. He works like a dog for the team. He deserves it tonight. Not every game will be like this. We'll have to suffer at times."
