Celtic shot-stopper Kasper Schmeichel chose not to point the finger at team-mate Cameron Carter-Vickers despite a disastrous own goal in the showdown with Club Brugge.
Instead, he suggested winger Nicolas Kuhn might have made a better pass and alluded to the deafening Parkhead support as adding to the confusion on the pitch.
When Kuhn found himself in a tight spot, Schmeichel was available but watched as the ball went instead to Carter-Vickers. The defender, assuming Schmeichel was in goal, unknowingly sent it towards the net, putting Celtic one goal down.
Despite the mix-up, Schmeichel didn't fault Carter-Vickers. Speaking to TNT Sports, the Danish goalkeeper reflected: "Probably, on reflection. We weren't ourselves in the first half.
"We didn't get up to the tempo of the game or play at the intensity that we know we can. Luckily we had half-time to change that and change our press a little bit and things got better in the second half."

Schmeichel didn't assign blame to Carter-Vickers for the blunder, indicating it was a series of mishaps that led to the goal.
The ex-Leicester keeper reflected on a missed opportunity added: "It's one of those things. I am showing for Nicolas [Kuhn]. I think Nicolas could have passed to me.
"I think he does well to get the pass to Cam [Carter-Vickers], but he is surprised by it and obviously he is getting pressed. It is so loud in here that he hasn't heard me. It is one of those things. We just move on it happens."
When probed about his satisfaction with the result, he admitted: "Yeah, reasonably. There was chances to win and chances from them as well. Reasonably happy."
