Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a new left wing-back for Ruben Amorim.
The club is said to be conducting due diligence on several targets, with three key names in the frame.
However, any potential deal may have to wait until next summer due to financial constraints. Alphonso Davies, who is also being pursued by Real Madrid, is reportedly wanted on a free transfer as his contract with Bayern Munich is set to expire at the end of the season.
Despite Bayern's attempts to secure an extension, negotiations have so far been unsuccessful. United are also said to be monitoring Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez, who recently notched up two assists in the Cherries' impressive 2-1 victory over Manchester City.
Liverpool and Chelsea are also reportedly interested in the 21 year old Hungarian, who was signed by new Reds sporting director Richard Hughes in 2023 during his tenure on the South Coast.
Regular updates are also being sought on the progress of United's former academy player Alvaro Fernandez Carreras.
The Benfica defender was sold last summer in a deal worth around £7.5million including add-ons, but crucially, United have a buy-back clause worth just under £17m.
As Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia near their much-anticipated returns to action, United are hoping to secure a left-sided player that fits perfectly into Amorim's 3-4-3 system.
