Albania’s Nedim Bajrami might have struck the fastest ever goal in the history of the Euros against Italy, but it was a TV presenter in the stands who proved the star of the moment. In an explosive start to their game with defending champions Italy, the tournament minnows got a dream start as Bajrami pounced on a poor throw-in from Federico Dimarco to fire high past Gianluigi Donnarumma.

And it was the celebrations of Eva Murati that stole the early show, with the TV personality having travelled to Germany to watch her team as a fan.

The media sensation, who has been compared to TNT Sports host Laura Woods, has also become renowned for her work as an actress, host and model in her native country.

The 29-year-old made her allegiance clear on Saturday night. As well as an Albania shirt, she held up a national team scarf throughout the 90 minutes and blended in with thousands of others who had travelled fro her country.

And Murati actually filmed herself as she went wild following the goal. She uploaded a video to Instagram of herself jumping up and down, captioning the footage ‘Fastest goal in Euro history 24 seconds’.

The goal was actually officially timed at 23 seconds, but regardless things soon turned sour for Murati and co at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund. A little over 10 minutes later, Alessandro Bastoni headed home Lorenzo Pellegrini's cross to level matters.

And on the 16 minute mark the turnaround was complete as Nicolo Barella fired in from 20 yards out.The Azzuri duly held on from there to win 2-1, although Donnarumma was forced into a late save from Rey Manaj.

All eyes will now be on the stands on Wednesday when Albania play their second game against Croatia. The self-confessed football fanatic is an avid Juventus fan, and fronts the Champions League coverage for Tring TV.

Besides her native tongue, she is also fluent in English, Italian and Spanish. And her rise in popularity is indeed reflected in her Instagram following, which now exceeds 941,000.

Woods meanwhile, is also out in Germany, However, the 36-year-old is definitely at the tournament in a working capacity, fronting the live coverage for ITV.

And for what it’s worth she slightly trails Murati when it comes to Instagram. The former talkSPORT employee, a two-time winner of the SJA Sports Presenter of the Year, has more than 762,000 fellow users following her,
