Atalanta striker Gianluca Scamacca was happy with his goal in their draw at Sporting CP.
Atalanta drew 1-1 with Sporting in the first-leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie.
Scamacca said: "We'll see on Thursday how it will go but we played a great match and the 1-1 is very close to us due to the opportunities we had. But everything remains open for qualification "
"We certainly deserved something more but when you play certain matches in Europe and in certain stadiums it's always difficult. We know we can do it, for us the Europa League is a goal.
"Thank goodness I managed to break the deadlock. But more than that I'm happy with the performance and with having helped the team, these are more important things than the goal."
