built on an uninspiring start to cruise past West Ham United 3-0 in the Premier League on Sunday. Express Sport takes a look at the four talking points as Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho fired Erik ten Hag's side above West Ham into sixth, six points behind the Champions League spots.

Hojlund has arrived

On his 21st birthday, Hojlund started the scoring with his 10th - and arguably best - goal since completing a £72million move from Atalanta in the summer.

The young Dane has now scored in each of his last four Premier League games, netting five goals in his last six outings in all competitions.

Hojlund is the youngest-ever player to find the net in four consecutive Premier League appearances for United. He is also the youngest player to score in four on the bounce in the competition since Dele Alli (20y 268d) in January 2017.

A new Holy Trinity emerges

The image of Hojlund sat alongside Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho on the advertisement board after the latter scored the first of his second-half brace could go down in history.

United's youngsters hit all the right notes at Old Trafford and offered huge hope for the present and future.

All three starlets would have to do incredibly well to earn the reputation of Sir Bobby Charlton, Denis Law and George Best in United folklore.

But they're making a promising start to their careers and have the makings of becoming stalwarts in Ten Hag's plans for the next decade.

Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro's spat

Casemiro provided the assist for Hojlund's deadlock-breaker but again displayed signs of getting back up to speed after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The Brazilian, who turns 32 this month, was on the wrong end of a rollicking from Bruno Fernandes in the first half after a series of careless passes up the pitch that saw United lose possession.

Fernandes often drops deep into midfield to control the tempo and wear the captain's armband at the heart of the team. And, not for the first time, the Portuguese maestro's high demands of himself and his team-mates were clear to see again.

Munich remembered

With West Ham's visit to Old Trafford the closest fixture to the 66th anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster, United remembered 23 individuals who lost their lives on 6 February 1958.

Ten Hag and David Moyes led the teams out of the tunnel ahead of kick-off, carrying wreaths in honour of the eight players, three club staff and 12 other victims of the tragedy. United also hosted 48 relatives of the players who died.

Geoff Bent, Roger Byrne, Eddie Colman, Duncan Edwards, Mark Jones, David Pegg, Tommy Taylor and Liam Whelan will never be forgotten.
