T Macau Museum of Art has unveiled a special exhibition that takes visitors on a journey through the Qianlong period of the Qing dynasty. The “Palace of Double Brilliance” exhibition, a collaboration between the Palace Museum and the Macau authorities, features a collection of over 130 artifacts, including palace clocks, furniture, calligraphy and painting albums.
The exhibition, showing until March 2, 2025, offers Macau residents and international tourists alike a opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of China.
Deland Leong, the director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, emphasized the significance of this event, stating that it is not only a major cultural highlight in Macau but also a platform for the community to deepen its understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture.
Wang Xudong, the director of the Palace Museum, expressed the museum’s commitment to collaborating with the Macau SAR to plan more exhibitions and cultural activities.
