The sector’s financial performance improved, with receipts rising 15% to MOP12.11 billion and expenditures increasing by 6.6% to MOP8.25 billion. Gross surplus surged by 38.5% to MOP3.86 billion, while gross value added rose 23.1% to MOP5.97 billion. In the Electricity, Gas & Water Supply sector, the number of establishments remained stable at five, although employment fell by 13 to 1,082.
