A motorcyclist lost his life after his vehicle collided with a private car in Kowloon Bay, on Saturday morning. The accident happened at around 11:30am at the junction of Wang Chiu Road and Kai Cheung Road, outside the Auxiliary Police Headquarters. Medics rushed the 67-year-old unconscious driver to the United Christian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The bike's pillion passenger, as well as the car's driver sustained minor injuries and were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and United Christian Hospital respectively.
