Woman dies after being hit by a bus in Tin Shui Wai

Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tin Shui Wai on Saturday evening, after a 43-year-old woman died after being hit by a bus. The accident happened just before 8 pm as the bus was approaching a pedestrian crossing near the junction of Tin Kwai Road and Tin Wah Road. The woman, who suffered serious head injuries, was certified dead at the scene. Police have arrested the bus driver, a 45-year-old man, on suspicion of dangerous driving, causing death. Prior to the accident, police say the bus had been travelling along Tin Kwai Road towards Wetland Park Road. The force is appealing for witnesses.
