NT Police Force closes investigation into now-sacked Barkly mayor sitting on Indigenous boy in 'citizen's arrest'

More than a year after former Barkly mayor Jeff McLaughlin was filmed restraining a child in a so-called citizen's arrest, police have closed their investigation into the incident "with no criminal prosecution to occur".
