Donald Trump says he has 'powerful mandate' after Republicans' dominant US election showing

Voters not only swept Donald Trump into the White House for a second time, but delivered his Republican Party a likely majority in the Senate and a possible one in the house at Tuesday's election. He also won the popular vote for the first time.
