Tasmania on track for warmest August since records began, despite snow and wind in the final days of winter

After a week of wild weather, some Tasmanians woke on Wednesday to a fresh sprinkle of snow. But as winter comes to a close, the Bureau of Meteorology says the state is on track to record its warmest August.
