Atoll Estates founders, Amit Majumder and Dmitry Bourtov aim to build the first 100 percent clean, renewable energy-powered resort in the Maldives.
According to Majumder and Bourtov, 100 percent of the energy used across all eight islands will come from renewable sources while waste will be reduced wherever possible. Other green initiatives include growing the resort’s food wherever possible and putting in place an active coral relocation program during the build and after construction.
