PITTSBURGH -- Intelligent power management company Eaton today announced the expansion of its newest global Innovation Center near Montreal in Brossard, Quebec less than a year after its opening. After developing cutting-edge software in the region for nearly 40 years, last year the company announced its Innovation Center focused on the research and development of distributed energy resources (DER) technologies. Now, Eaton is adding 9,000 square feet and 50 more highly specialized jobs to the facility, bringing a total of approximately 200 jobs to Brossard. As part of the expansion, Eaton is building a new Experience Center to provide hands-on training for the digital technologies accelerating the energy transition—accelerating innovation and adoption of new solutions.
