Beyond Paradise teaser clip
Beyond Paradise fans said the same thing as they tuned in to watch the Christmas special on Friday night.
Humphrey Goodman (played by Kris Marshall) was back to solve another mysterious case in Shipton Abbott. At the same time, Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton) tried to adjust after welcoming a teenage foster child into their home.
The festive instalment featured a star-studded guest cast, including Mark Heap, who played widower Bob Holland, who kept seeing a ghost of his dead wife.
Strictly Come Dancing star Seann Walsh also appeared in the episode as Bob Hollard's son-in-law, Colin. However, as viewers tuned in to watch the one-off special, they were thrilled to see Humphrey back on their screens.
Taking to X, one fan wrote: "HUMPHREY GOODMAN, IT'S GOOD TO HAVE YOU BACK."

A new series of Beyond Paradise will be back on screens next year, and while no official date has been confirmed, it is expected to air in March.
The second series saw Humphrey and Martha very nearly tie the knot, while their fostering journey came to a heartwarming conclusion as they welcomed Ryan into their home.
Speaking about series three and the Christmas special, Tim Key, executive producer for Red Planet Pictures, beamed: “The response to series two has been fantastic. So much love goes into the making of the show and we’re delighted that the audience have enjoyed it so much.
"We can’t wait to get back to Shipton Abbott for another Christmas special and series to continue the story and learn more about our characters and the town they live in - I can promise that we’ll be making the viewers laugh, cry, laugh a bit more and then baffling them with a series of ingenious puzzles. There will also be a duck.”
Beyond Paradise is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
