Journalist Andrew Pierce said he is “delighted” to be part of GB News after a huge shake-up at the channel saw several big names axed.
The political commentator currently presents Britain’s Newsroom weekdays on GB News alongside former LBC presenter, Beverley Turner.
He wrote on Twitter/X on Monday: “Delighted with @beverleyturner to be part of @GBNEWS team which is now beating @SkyNews week in week out. And they said @gbnews wouldn't last.”
Andrew has survived a cull at GB News which resulted in the sacking of Mark Dolan and Isabel Webster. Former Tory MP, Jacob Rees-Mogg, was also impacted by the changes as his hours have been cut from four days a week to two.
In a video shared on Friday, Mark said he was fired “in minutes”, but thanked his former bosses for doing it “nicely”.

Breakfast host Isabel is yet to speak out about her exit but her co-host Eamonn Holmes responded to the announcement on social media, writing: "Bye my girl x."
Ellie Costello will now host the Breakfast show with Eamonn on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Stephen Dixon on Thursday and Friday. Mark will be replaced by Ben Leo on his weekend show.
Announcing the shake-up on Wednesday, the channel explained that changes to the presenting line-up “will allow us to build on success with a renewed focus and ambition”.
GB News’s Head of Programming and Talent, Ben Briscoe, said: “2024 has been a truly fantastic year for us.
"Not only are we regularly beating the other established news channels, but we are also making inroads against the big public service broadcaster terrestrial channels. Our initiatives will allow us to build on this success with a renewed focus and ambition."
An insider from GB News has claimed to know the "real reasons" behind exits at the channel. They told MailOnline that Isabel was "too woke and not on message", while Mark's "viewing figures were not good".
However, the same source said that his Saturday night show was up against BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
A second source reportedly said that the changes are "definitely down to money". Pre-tax losses at GB News reached £42.4m in 2023 - up from £30.7m in 2022.
