A player on The Chase had a stern demand for the ITV quiz show's host this evening (Decmeber 4). Bradley Walsh was back at the helm as he welcomed four new players to take on the Chaser - but he managed to touch a nerve with one of them.
Comghal, Samantha, Adam and Yung Yung worked together as a team as they went head to head with Anne 'The Governess' Hegerty. They tested their general knowledge skills in three rounds as they hoped to go home slightly richer.
Samatha, from Middlesex, was second to play. When being quizzed about her life off-screen the player shared that she was an exam invigilator and also enjoyed playing poker in her spare time.
Being an avid card game player, she shared that she prefers to play in person rather than online and she had even played in Las Vegas. The contestant hoped to spend any winnings doing that once more - However, it didn't come cheap with a £10,000 entrance fee.
Bradley asked her: "Let me ask you this then, are you good?" Samantha replied: "I'm not professional. But I enjoy it."
The TV host cheekily asked: "What's your biggest win?" The player looked a little taken aback and bashful as she repsonded, saying: "Oh I can't say that."
"Biggest loss?" Bradley probed some more. She replied with a laugh, saying: "I am definitely not telling you that!"
After her cashbuilder round, where Samatha managed to secure £6,000, she decided to go for a middle offer of the same amount. Bradley commented, saying: "Just shy of your entry fee to Las Vegas, but £6,000, I mean you could probably win that in a poker match. Is that your winnings?"

She replied in jest, saying: "Absolutely." But Brad didn't stop the probing as he asked: "Have you ever lost six grand in a poker match?"
The contestant quipped back as she suggested: "Shall we move on now?" She laughed heartily as the ITV host teased: "Higher or lower?"
Unfortunately for Samatha, luck was not on her side. She was caught by the Chaser and sent home empty handed.
