The second campmate has been evicted from I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

On Sunday, December 1, via the public vote, it was confirmed that Dean McCullough would be leaving the camp for good, following in the footsteps of Loose Women star Jane Moore, who was the first campmate to leave on Friday night.

Speaking as he left the show, he headed up to speak to Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, where he opened up about his campmates and his time in camp. Speaking as it was announced, he said: "I'm going home. I'm going home!"

As he made his way up to Ant and Dec, he told them: "I have really soaked up this full experience. The things I've faced. I've really enjoyed it and when I woke up this morning, I thought if I go today, I'm over the moon because I've not missed out on anything. I did all of it. I had the full experience. It was nothing like what I expected it to be."

During their chat, Ant also explained why he got so frustrated with Dean. He said: "I was quite harsh on you. Let me explain why Dean. I was so angry at you for calling 'I'm A Celebrity'," as Dec added: "That was because we felt the trial was doable."

Ant then added: "Then, that tough love kind of got you through. I was really proud of you at the end and that tough love got you through. By the flying challenge, you were brilliant. I knew you could do it."

Earlier in the programme, Melvin Odoom struggled as he opened up about the poor weather in the camp. The others tried to reassure him, with Barry telling him: "You’ll be alright, you’re gonna be absolutely fine. We’re all here for you, anytime you want us to help you or talk to you whatever. You can do it, you’re tough as hell I’m telling you!"

Oti Mabuse also came to talk to him, where she urged him to keep pushing. She said: "You are doing so well Melvin and everyone will be proud of you, I promise you. It’s ok, you’re human. Remember why we’re here, the thing why you and I are pushing is because this is bigger than just you and I and we constantly have to remember why we’re here, what we stand for and who is watching us. And what it means when we do well. You know what it means? That’s why we wake up every day."

In a heartwarming moment, she told Melvin she'd stay with him after he asked her to keep him company in sad scenes. She said: "I’ll stay here as long as you need, I won’t go anywhere, I’ve got you until the end."

Meanwhile, Barry took part in tonight's trial, which was called Spiralling Out of Control. He was strapped to a giant spiral wheel and was allowed just one hand free, which he would use to throw balls into the hatches around the side.

With offal, cockroaches and giant mealworms around him, he had to throw the balls into different hatches. Each ball offered him a chance of winning one star for camp and a triumphant Barry ended up with an impressive 10 out of 11 stars.

*I'm A Celebrity continues tomorrow night on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm.
