Deal or No Deal fans dubbed the latest episode of the ITV gameshow “embarrassing” after an awkward musical performance from the contestants.
As fan tuned in to watch a slew of hopefuls take on the banker and take home a huge cash prize, Stephen Mulhern welcomed fans by chatting with some of the players.
Whilst he typically introduces the newest player and discusses their shenanigans behind the scenes, today’s episode drew ire for “time wasting”.
After welcoming new player Daniel, he explained that he used to be in a JLS tribute band and that he and four of the other contestants had prepared a dance routine.
Stephen was heard saying to a fellow player: “Brian H I forgot to ask you yesterday, you promised us a dance have you worked something out?” He replied: “I may have done, I’ve got some volunteers as well.”
He then proceeded to walk onto the main floor with three other players and perform a dance routine, dubbing themselves “The Bad Boys”.
Fans slammed the stunt as “embarrassing” and urged the show to just “get on with it”.
“Worst boyband ever,’ slammed one fan. Another agreed: “This is so embarrassing. Can you just start the game?” A third echoed the same sentiment with: “WTF Get on with the game FFS,” and “Just get on with the game!!!!” Another irate player fumed: “The length it take to get the bloody game started!”
Player Kelly G was today’s player and some fans took major umbridge with the timing of her game as they felt other players had waited longer for their turn.
“Oh fu** off this is ridiculous now, she’s been on about 10 days?? Pi** take!!” slammed one fan. Another echoed: “Kelly? She's been there what a week or so? WE WANT BRIAN”
Unfortunately for Kelly her game got off to a very bad start after she eliminated some of the biggest numbers on the board in her first round.
It only got worse from there as she continued to eliminate all the reds until there were only blues left on the board.
She took the game all the way to then end and with £500 and £50 she hoped to at least bag £500. It was not meant to be for Kelly as she only took home the lower amount.
