Antiques Road Trip fans were left frustrated after the episode that aired on Wednesday, November 20, with many sharing similar complaints about the auction results.
The BBC show, where two antiques experts compete to find treasures with a £200 budget and resell them at auction, featured Mark Hill and Roo Irvine searching for hidden gems.
The pair hit the road in style, cruising through the picturesque Northwest in their iconic Volvo on the beloved series.
After shopping for goods, Roo’s purchases included a Sadler’s car teapot for £65, a glass vase for £40, two hat boxes for £40 (managing to snag one for free), a fender for £30, and another vase for £25—spending a total of £200.
Mark, on the other hand, used his entire budget on a small table, three vases, and a napkin.

However, fans of the show weren’t thrilled with the auction outcomes. One commented, “The sales prices always seem low, although Colin is fabulous.” Another added, “The auctions were rubbish! Someone got a bargain.”
By the end, Mark lost £41.99, while Roo’s losses were just £6, making her the winner. Despite the competition, fans seemed disappointed with the episode's results.
Antiques expert Mark Hill has been a specialist in antiques for many years and is described as a “leading specialist dealer in postwar Czechoslovakian glass.”
He had also worked with many dealers and collectors before he opened his own antique shop at The Pantiles Arcade in Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Meanwhile, Roo is a regular expert on Antiques Road Trip, Bargain Hunt, Flipping Profit, and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip. She is currently the main presenter for Bargain Hunt.
She was discovered after the show's producers visited Roo's antique shop in Kilcreggan, Scotland in 2015, and she was invited to join the show's team of experts.
Roo has also written for publications, done podcasts, and appeared in corporate and charity events. She has a monthly slot on Lomond Radio, where she discusses the stories and emotions behind music.
