I'm A Celeb: Ant and Dec joke about show's 'format'
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! presenter Declan Donnelly has shared an unexpected format change during Tuesday night's show.
Dec was back alongside his best pal and co-presenter Ant McPartlin for another instalment of the hit ITV programme.
But during the episode, Dec announced that he decided to shake things up a little when sharing the news that celeb Dean McCullough would be taking on a dreaded trial.
Talking to Ant and viewers at home, he joked: "That's not all, we also got something that's all new for 2024, never afraid to shake up the format on this show.
"So when I told Dean that he would be doing the trial, I, wait for it, pointed at him when I said his name."
Stating his disbelief, Ant gasped and said, "wow". Dec then jokingly added: "I know! Impressive isn't it."
Like previous series of I'm A Celeb, presenters Ant and Dec have continued to keep the jokes rolling, and this year has been no exception. The Geordie duo has also received praise from viewers at home for their comedic timing and upbeat portrayal.
Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: "Ant & Dec really are the best presenters." Another said: "Ant & Dec really do make #ImACeleb a great and funny show."
During Tuesday evening's programme, radio star Dean faced the latest challenge, The Sinister Sarcophagus. But his fears got the better of him.

Trapped in a mummy figurine which gradually filled with sand, Dean was asked questions as creepy crawlies joined him in the upright stature.
Despite answering his first two questions correctly and receiving two stars which equates to two meals for camp, Dean was unable to finish the trial and uttered the words, "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!"
Overwhelmed with what took place, Dean explained to hosts Ant and Dec that he was unable to feel his legs. But due to his dramatic exit, fans at home knew that he might be up for more challenges and have already voted for him to participate in tonight's trial alongside GK Barry.
After witnessing Dean's premature exit, one fan wrote on X: "Oh Dean…. you have just sealed your fate in being voted for every single trial…"
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! airs Mondays-Sundays at 9pm on ITV1.
