Kate Garraway chats to Babatunde Aleshe about I'm a Celeb on GMB
Kate Garraway received a telling off from Good Morning Britain bosses during her interview with a former I'm A Celebrity contestant.
On Thursday, Kate and Richard Madeley were joined by Babatunde Aleshe to discuss his time in the jungle and his upcoming tour. Viewers of the ITV show will remember that Babatunde was so petrified of heights that he withdrew from the first challenge.
As they discussed his fears, Kate delved into the evolutionary origins of this fear, explaining why we are instinctively apprehensive about heights.
She explained: "When they get to the glass, the hole in this high rise building. It's right back in our prehistoric brain, in our lizard brain they call it, that we should fear height. Lizard brain is what they call this.
"We're going off on a tangent. The lizard brain is your hardwired brain. They just told me to let you talk, it's a fair point," she added, referring to the producers who were communicating with her via an earpiece, reports the Mirror.

Kate ventured into the Australian jungle a few years back, while Richard participated in the Welsh version of the show, which relocated from Australia to Gwyrch Castle during the pandemic.

The confirmed line-up includes Coleen Rooney, Strictly's Oti Mabuse, Coronation Street legend Alan Halsall, Loose Women's Jane Moore, Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullogh, singer Tulisa Contostavlos and TV host and DJ Melvin Odoom.
Former boxer Barry McGuigan, social media sensation GK Barry and McFly vocalist Danny Jones are also set to venture into the jungle, with two additional celebrities - speculated to be Reverend Richard Coles and Maura Higgins - anticipated to join later.
I'm A Celebrity is set to launch this weekend with an exciting new twist. The stars will be compelled to participate in a thrilling race to reach the jungle.
The celebrities will need to form pairs and undertake several challenges in a quest to be the first to arrive at camp.
