Antiques Road Trip: Margie gets swarmed by seagulls
Margie Cooper had a fright on BBC's Antiques Road Trip this evening (November 7). The TV presenter was swarmed by seagulls as she enjoyed a walk along a Welsh beach, as she cried out "he's had the lot".
Narrated by Tim Wonnacott, the BBC series follows antiques experts who compete against each other to see who can turn the biggest profit over five programmes with an initial budget of £200.
BBC star, Margie, was enjoying a brisk walk in Llandudno while eating an ice cream, when she suddenly became weary of her surroundings with birds cawing in the background. Foreboding what was about to happen she said: "What a beautiful day. I'm just a bit scared the seagulls might pinch my ice cream."
Just a few moments later she screamed out in horror as a seagull swooped, catching her head and throwing her delicious treat to the ground. Margie cried out: "Bloody hell!" as more and more seagulls appeared to enjoy what was remaining of her ice cream.
She exclaimed: "What did I say? Get out of it! He's got the lot now. My ice cream has gone.

"I felt this rush on the back of my head and I've got nothing.
"He's had the lot. He even had the blooming cornett." The presenter walked away as she shared that she was not to be deterred saying: "Right, I'm going back for another one."
Later in the show, at the auction, Maggie showed off her buys of the episode. She had purchased five items for a total of £117, including a school desk made from solid oak.

While sitting at the auction she noticed that something was missing. Grabbing ahold of her ear she pointed out: "I've lost an earring!"
Her co-star and episode competitor Tim Medhurst asked: "Is is a lucky sign to lose an earring? Or is that unlucky?"
It appeared that luck actually wasn't on Margie's side at all. By the end of the episode it was revealed that she had had a loss of £16.92.
However, Tim also failed to gain a profit. He finished the show with a small loss, but a loss nontheless, as his final total was minus £1.06.
