Angela Rippon’s Rip Off Britain is making a highly anticipated return to television after first captivating BBC viewers 15 years ago.

Airing in the mid-morning slot on BBC One, the show not only highlights stories of individuals who have fallen victim to scams but also educates viewers about current rip-offs to watch out for in the marketplace.

The cherished daytime programme, which debuted in 2009, has produced a remarkable 552 episodes and focuses on helping consumers who have been taken advantage of. Angela hosts the show alongside Gloria Hunniford and Julia Somerville.

BBC executives are now inviting members of the public to reach out for the upcoming 17th series, according to the Daily Mail.

An advert for the show reads: "If you've been struggling to get a complaint resolved and no one's giving you the answers you need, please let us know. And it could be your story that Angela Rippon, Gloria Hunniford and Julia Somerville investigate on the programme."

The veteran broadcaster, a well-known figure in British television for nearly six decades, surprised fans who thought she looked much younger.

Rippon, a pioneering figure as the first woman to regularly present the news on national television and last year, also made history by becoming the oldest contestant to ever compete on Strictly Come Dancing.
