Amanda Holden reveals 'embarrassing' detail about ex-husband Les Dennis' habits

Amanda Holden has shared a cringe-worthy detail about her ex-husband Les Dennis's peculiar habits during a lively chat on her Heart FM show.

This came in response to Ayda Williams's disclosure on Loose Women that she had found her husband Robbie nibbling his toenails, Amanda confessed that Les had been known to do the same thing, "much to his embarrassment", she added on-air.

Thankfully, Amanda hadn't exactly betrayed a secret, as Les himself confessed to the unhygienic habit in a 2021 episode of Would I Lie To You?.

The former Family Fortunes host and Coronation Street star admitted: "I like to keep my old fingernail clippings so I can use them later on."

He justified that nail clippings made a great toothpick, stating: "If I get a really good one that's got a nice hook in it, then I will save it for later."

After his shocking confession, however, Les vowed not to do it anymore.

Now that Robbie Williams has been outed as a toenail chewer, Amanda predicts it's going to become "a thing," and all the trendy people will likely start doing it.

Amanda was just 22 years old in 1995 when she married Les, who, at 40, was a well-known TV star.

However, their marriage dramatically collapsed when it emerged that Amanda was having an affair with Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey, leading to their divorce in 2003.

Discussing the latest showbiz snippets on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! with co-host Jason King, Amanda Holden expressed "a very strong feeling" that Coleen Rooney might join the cast.

She hinted that although her Britain's Got Talent colleagues Ant and Dec didn't confirm it, their evasion of her probing questions suggested Coleen Rooney, wife of Plymouth Argyle coach Wayne, could be swapping her usual holiday for an adventure in the Australian jungle.
