The Loose Women set was in disarray this Monday (October 14) following a debate over a particularly vile scene from the first live eviction of Big Brother's latest series. The panellists were visibly unimpressed with the unsavoury footage that unfurled.
The show's presenter Christine Lampard prefaced the segment by introducing Lily Benson, a 20-year-old contestant, before rolling a clip that captured Lily lounging on the couch picking her nose with closed eyes during eviction night.
Adding to the shock, the Chinese takeaway worker appeared indifferent as she continued to eat what she had extracted from her nose.
Christine warned her co-hosts on Loose Women: "Housemate Lily has been caught digging, and when I say digging, I'm going to ask you to look away if you can't deal with that kind of thing."
Post-screening of the distasteful Big Brother moment, a disgusted Dame Kelly Holmes sounded like she was gagging and implored her colleagues to avoid using Christine's euphemism "digging for gold.", reports the Mirror.

"Kelly is horrified, to be fair our audience was horrified then as well", noted Christine, observing the studio's reaction.
Brenda Edwards couldn't help but implore the housemates to refrain from such acts and condemned it as "nasty".
Investigating Kelly's reaction further, Christine quizzed, "You're not good with that at all", prompting Kelly to confess: "No, nothing like that. That's why I don't go on I'm A Celeb", before mimicking throwing up.
Brenda then voiced her opinion, stating: "I don't think there are many people that would be good with sitting and watching somebody doing that and then doing what she did afterward, that's just nastiness."
According to Brenda, the behaviour should be eradicated from an early age, saying: "For me, I think it's something that you need to stamp out from an early age, like when you're a child."
She would tell off anyone displaying the same habit as Big Brother's Lily in her presence, suggesting people should do it privately instead.
Brenda added: "It's about etiquette, I mean she (Lily) looked like she had fallen asleep doing that, it looked therapeutic for her. No."
